KKK - Ku Klux Klan Rally in Stephenville, Texas, on March 17th, 2007

I have never seen a KKK rally and when I heard that they are coming to town, I had to go and see for myself. I even tried to stay open-minded. But what I heard and saw was so pathetic and lame, that I decided it was a big waste of time.

However, it must have been enough to turn my stomach, since I started to feel physically ill after about 30 minutes of listening to these far fetched and overly loud statements. Thankfully the KKK left 20 minutes early too, looking a little bit frustrated. I wonder why. NOT!

KKK rallies in Texas town, drawing hundreds of onlookers

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Two dozen Ku Klux Klan members held a downtown rally Saturday in this usually quiet dairy community, drawing about 500 bystanders who booed often and held anti-hate signs.

The Traditional Christian Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, who wore black T-shirts or suits and not the white robes and hoods traditionally associated with the group, were separated from onlookers by two fences and dozens of law enforcement officers. Toward the end of the hour-and-a-half rally, a scuffle broke out in the crowd and three people were arrested.
